Jason Robert Brown with Stephen Sondheim at Town Hall

It’s very possible that I may have peaked with this……and I’m totally fine with that! I had the immense pleasure and honor of once again performing with Jason Robert Brown, this time at his concert at Town Hall with none other than the legendary Stephen Sondheim. Being in the room with these two theatrical titans felt like I was dreaming; I had to keep pinching myself to prove that it was really happening! It is always such a joy to perform with Jason, and this evening is one that I’ll remember for the rest of my life.

Broadway Inspirational Voices to receive Tony Honor for Excellence in the Theatre

I am so over the moon about this incredible news - Broadway Inspirational Voices, the amazing choir that I have been a part of since last year, is receiving a TONY!!! I could not possibly think of a more deserving organization for this honor, and the fact that we are receiving it in our 25th Anniversary Year is such an immense blessing!

A Night of Country Under City Lights: Performance with Jennifer Nettles and Sara Bareilles at Lincoln Center

What a total blast! I had the immense honor of joining Jennifer Nettles on stage at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center for A Night of Country Under City Lights! We were also joined by Sara Bareilles and Jason Robert Brown, along with country music artist Cam and an absolutely incredible band. Not a bad way to spend a Friday night, huh?!

Sesame Street 50th Anniversary Gala: Performance with John Legend

This easily goes down as one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. I was fortunate enough to sing backup for John Legend during his performance at the Sesame Street 50th Anniversary Gala! Not only was I lucky enough to take the stage with Mr. Legend, but for the finale all of the incredible puppets came up and sang with us as well! I’m talking Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Snuffleupagus, Count Von Count, Abby Cadabby - the whole crew! AND Michelle Obama was there to receive the Joan Ganz Cooney Award, so I basically lost my mind! Best day ever!

Grease at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre

Joining Jason Robert Brown & Mykal Kilgore at SubCulture

This is certainly one for the books…I fulfilled a lifelong dream when I recently had the opportunity to work with living legend Jason Robert Brown! Dubbed the "Voices of Fierceness” by JRB himself, we performed alongside Jason at the most recent installment of his concert series at SubCulture. His guest was none other than the out-of-this-world Mykal Kilgore, who completely brought the house down!!

Joy and Inspiration: Broadway Inspirational Voices Holiday Concert

We were hard at work all fall rehearsing a plethora of incredible holiday music, which culminated in our annual holiday concert! This was my second concert with BIV, and I’m still in awe of the talent, passion, musicianship, and joy that every member of our choir brings. Making music with this group is always the highlight of my week!

TODAY Performance with Hugh Jackman

In what may be the coolest thing I’ve ever done (my mom certainly thinks so!), I was lucky enough to be a part of Hugh Jackman’s most recent performance on Today! Several of my fellow choir members and I joined Wolverine himself in a medley of songs from Les Miserables in order to promote his upcoming concert tour. It may have been 30 degrees that morning in Rockefeller Plaza, but Hugh’s genuine kindness and stellar performance certainly warmed us right up!

Good Morning America Performance

I checked off a major bucket list item with this one - it was such an honor and a blast to sing background vocals for Martin Garrix & Mike Yung on Good Morning America! Their new song “Dreamer” has a beautiful message and story behind it, and it was truly inspiring to share the stage with them. This day will stay with me for a long time!

Perfect 36: 29-Hour Reading

I was so delighted to participate in the 29-hour reading of Perfect 36, with music by Mel Marvin (Broadway's Yentl, TintypesThe Grinch) and book and lyrics by Laura Harrington. This piece centers around the historic vote for the ratification of the 19th Amendment, and how the battle for women's suffrage all came down to the state of Tennessee. With the 100th Anniversary of the amendment's passage coming up in 2020, this could not be a more timely story to tell, and I'm so grateful to have been involved in this step of the process!

Broadway Inspirational Voices: Broadway Our Way Concert

I could not be more thrilled to have joined the Broadway Inspirational Voices, an organization that has meant so much to me ever since moving to the city. BIV is a gospel choir comprised of Broadway and theatre artists, focusing on changing lives through the power of music and service. I made my BIV concert debut on June 11th at the Broadway Our Way concert - I am so honored to get to work with such an outstandingly talented group of artists! The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Actors Theatre of Indiana

The Music of City of Angels

On August 21st, I took the stage at The Green Room 42 to perform the fabulous music of City of Angels. I also served as music director, and take it from me - this score is no joke! Proceeds from the event benefited the New Studio on Broadway Alumni Scholarship, so it was wonderful being able to contribute to a cause so close to my heart while doing something I love.

Olivia Wendel and Friends Concert

I had an absolute blast singing with one of my closest friends, Olivia Wendel, at The Bitter End! She also happens to be incredible.....check her out here! All proceeds from the concert were donated to Planned Parenthood, an organization that we are both passionate about. There's nothing better than making music with friends for a great cause!
